Nova Scotia grown

About the farm

Rooted in Nova Scotia. Growing for generations.

We're a small nursery with a long view: food, beauty, habitat, and legacy — one well-grown plant at a time.

Why we grow

A nursery built on patience.

Little Tree Farm started the way most good plantings do — slowly, and with intent. On our land in Nova Scotia we grow the trees, berries, and native plants we believe belong in Canadian landscapes: hardy enough for real winters, generous enough to feed families and wildlife for decades.

We're not a warehouse. Plants here are raised through real seasons, dug at the right moment, and shipped in the window when they establish best. It's slower. It's also why they live.

What we stand for

  • Grown with intention

Every plant is raised for strong roots first — the part you don't see is the part that matters most.

  • Honest guidance

Every listing says what a plant is not good for. We'd rather lose a sale than plant a disappointment.

  • Climate-first selection

If it can't handle a real Canadian winter, we don't grow it. Zone honesty on every page.

  • Legacy thinking

Trees outlive trends. We choose plants your grandchildren will stand under.

From our soil to yours.

The short version of how a Little Tree Farm plant reaches your land — the long version lives on our nursery practices page.
