Our promise
The Live Arrival Guarantee.
Healthy plants on arrival, or we make it right. Simple as that — here's exactly how it works.
We stand behind every root.
Shipping living things across a country is a responsibility we take personally. If a plant doesn't arrive healthy and viable, that's on us — replacement or refund, your choice. No fine-print gymnastics.
What the guarantee covers
Covered
- Plants that arrive damaged, dried out, or dead
- Wrong plant or wrong form shipped
- Orders lost or destroyed in transit
- Plants that fail to break dormancy after correct in-season planting
Not covered
We'd rather tell you now than argue later.
- Plants left unplanted or unwatered after arrival
- Planting far outside the listed hardiness zone
- Damage from animals, mowers, or extreme weather after delivery
- Normal transplant adjustment — some leaf drop is healthy, not fatal

Guarantee questions
How long do I have to report a problem?
Photograph the box and plants on arrival day and contact us within 48 hours for transit issues. Dormancy concerns can be raised through the first growing season.
What does 'we make it right' mean?
A replacement in the next shipping window or a refund of the plant — your choice, no re-shipping fees for our mistakes.
My bare-root tree looks like a stick. Is it dead?
Almost certainly not — dormant bare-root plants are supposed to look like that. Scratch a small spot of bark: green underneath means alive. Plant it, water it, and give it spring.
